Labor Relations

Labor relations have traditionally been kept at arms length by the owner. In recent years, however, many owners have recognized that they can enjoy improved cost control by playing an active role in the labor forum. National and local labor agreements are now structured to provide for a Tri-Partite forum made up of owner, contractor and labor representatives to resolve plant and project disputes proactively. It takes many years of experience with the local and international union organizations to operate effectively in the labor venue.

CMM Inc’s personnel have successfully administered labor relations as the owner’s representative on over ten million man-hours of construction and maintenance activity. While facilities and projects may change, the contractors and construction personnel involved are drawn from the same population. This makes CMM Inc’s labor relations’ experience a valuable asset to the successful completion of your projects.
